Louis Frederick King (paternal Grandfather) (back row, far left), as a teenager on a baseball team, Portland, Maine

Baseball, Portland, Maine, circa 1915-1920. I now refer to Bruce McClean King, Robert Lee King Jr. (me), Maxine Leigh King (maiden name) and Meredith Jean King (maiden name). These four are siblings, whose parents are (deceased) Robert Lee King Sr. and Maxine June McClean (maiden name). Here is the four's paternal Grandfather, Louis Frederick King (Bob).

This is why family pictures are priceless. At the time of the image, that teenager in the upper left corner did not know that one day his 64-years-of-age grandson would be typing a description of this now-100-year-old image and regretting that he did not know more details about the team name, etc. I feel confident that one day the technology will be available to do such things as be able to read that trophy (as an example). Not today. There is no way I can see what that trophy has written on it. I cannot place this location either. It is surely somewhere in Portland.....probably in the East Deering area, because that is where he lived. I did not even know Gramp was ever on a baseball team. He did not talk about himself much, although he did talk a lot.
